Athletic Training Licensure (Certification)
Certified athletic trainers are allied health care providers who specialize in the prevention, assessment, treatment and rehabilitation of injuries and illnesses that occur to athletes and the physically active. To become a Board of Certification (BOC) certified athletic trainer, you must first complete the Bachelor's degree in Athletic Training from KU. Upon completion of your degree, you'll then be eligible to take (and prepared to pass) the BOC certification exam. For more information on BOC certification, please visit their web site.
