Internships in education and wellness professions
Students who complete internships in education or the wellness professions support the work of programs that the world needs to interact. At the KU School of Education, we encourage you to take advantage of as many pre-service field experiences as possible - internships included.
Internships for Teacher Education Students
For elementary teacher education students, the internship experience during your spring semester is a component of the overall student teaching experience. Please visit the Student Teaching page for more information.
Students at the KU School of Education who choose to participate in the PDS Alliance program are eligible for a 16-week internship experience, working with our local partner school districts. To learn more about this hands-on learning opportunity, visit the PDS Alliance Program page.
The Internship Center is a comprehensive internship resource. You can learn about other KU students' internship opportunities, access internship listings, subscribe to the Internship Newsletter, and find out how to receive academic credit for an internship. If you need help finding an internship, make an appointment with a University Career Center career coach. We will help you access resources most relevant to the types of internships you are seeking.
