LD Online Honors Deshler with Inspiration Award

Dr. Don DeshlerDr. Don Deshler, Director of the Center for Research on Learning and Professor of SPED, received the first Inspiration Award from LD OnLine, the world’s leading website on learning disabilities (LD) and Attentiona Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). The site serves more than 250,000 parents, teachers, and other professionals each month. The Inspiration Awards were awarded to mark the 10th anniversary of LD OnLine.

Users of the web site and a panel of experts were asked to nominate candidates in three categories: individual, organization, or celebrity. The Inspiration Awards recognize individuals who epitomize innovation, hard work and success in the field of learning disabilities or who have overcome their own learning disabilities and are an inspiration to others.
