School of Education Scholarship Application Process
Before applying for a scholarship, please read the following:
The scholarship application process requires the completion of an online Scholarship Application. Only online applications will be considered. The deadline to apply is February 26, 2010 at 5:00 p.m.
You will be asked to answer questions about your ethnicity, marital status, employment, and school loan debt. These questions, among others, address the restrictions of the scholarships. You are not required to answer these questions, but be advised that if you do not answer these questions, you may not be considered for donor scholarships with those requirements.
- Make sure you have applied for a FAFSA (domestic) or ISNAW (international) or you will not be considered for a scholarship designated for a student with financial need.
- Complete the Online Scholarship Application (see below). You must apply online so that your information will be in our database.
- The application for a scholarship includes the applicant’s response to a short series of items as well as responses to several short essays. Applicants are strongly encouraged to prepare responses to these essays prior to beginning the online application process. Responses prepared using a word processing program can be pasted into the appropriate response windows of the online application. When doing so, please insert plain unformatted text only. Do NOT insert any text that has been formatted with any special characters such as bold, italics, underlines, bullet points, etc.
- Graduate Students need to have one letter of recommendation from a school of education faculty.
