Executive CouncilThe Kansas Coalition of Professional Development Schools began forming in January, 1998. At that time, the University of Kansas invited people involved with PDS partnerships at the other state regents' institutions to a state-wide networking session. Discussion between the partnerships supported the development of a formalized relationship between the institutions and their partner schools. In the spring of 1999, private institutions in Kansas were invited to join the coalition. Jeanne Duncan, Kansas State Department of Education, coordinates the group.
