School of Education to Move to Four Year Teacher Preparation Model

Congratulations to Alejandra (Alex) Hernandez-Castro, who recently was named the University of Kansas Unclassified Employee of the Year.

Sixteen University of Kansas students were honored at the 18th annual School of Education convocation on May 16th. Rick Ginsberg, dean of education, presented the awards at the convocation, which was part of KU commencement activities.

Five SOE faculty members were recognized by the Center for Teaching Excellence at the 12th annual Celebration of Teaching on May 5 in the Kansas Union Ballroom.
