In Fall 2016, the KU School of Education will begin to make use of a relatively new and exciting tool to provide collaboration and support between academic departments and teams within the School: myCommunity. myCommunity let’s you customize your own spaces for projects, teams and groups using a single dynamic tool. Within myCommunity, KU students, faculty and staff have 1TB of free cloud storage via OneDrive for Business and access to online versions of Microsoft Office products through Office 365.

Built on SharePoint Online, myCommunity includes integrated productivity tools, data management and collection tools, document sharing, 1TB of personal file storage, many of the features found on websites and social networks, and more. myCommunity is integrated with Microsoft tools such as Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Skype for Business. And, because the service is cloud-based, it is accessible from computers and mobile devices anytime you have Internet access.
