Educational Leadership and Policy Studies
Graduate Admissions to the University of Kansas School of Education, Educational Leadership and Policy Studies, is an online process at the following link: https://www.applyweb.com/apply/ukansg. The application service provider, CollegeNet, proved so efficient and secure with undergraduate applications, it was a foregone conclusion to use this service provider for the Graduate Application Processing Center (GAPC). Perhaps CollegeNet's ease of use is its most important characteristic, especially with access to the Activity Log, a service which will help you locate your application in its journey. Note: If you are applying on the CollegeNet site to graduate programs in Higher Education, Educational Administration, Policy Studies and Historical, Philosophical and Social Foundations of Education, you are applying to the Educational Leadership and Policy Studies Program.
The process begins simply enough when you establish your account, and fill out and complete the application. Application fees can be paid online for greater ease and savings, but you may also download paper applications if you would prefer (paper ones are sent to GAPC, located at 1450 Jayhawk Blvd. Room 313, Strong Hall, University of Kansas, Lawrence Kansas, 66045-7535). If you have questions or challenges with the online application process, you may call 785-864-3140 or email GAPC directly at gradadmin@ku.edu. Support documentation, including one official transcript from each college or university attended and other materials as listed below, must be sent directly to the department.
Once all support documentation has been received, the Department's graduate admissions committee will meet to make selections. All applicants are notified of their status in a timely manner.
