Admissions Information
Application to Graduate Programs at the University of Kansas, Educational Leadership and Policy Studies Department, is an online process at the following link: https://www.applyweb.com/apply/kugrad/. The Graduate Application Processing Center (GAPC) (where applications are initially received and processed) is part of KU’s Office of Research and Graduate Studies. Note: If you are applying online to a graduate program in Higher Education Administration, School Administration (Educational Administration), Policy Studies, or Historical, Philosophical, and Social Foundations of Education, you are applying to the Educational Leadership and Policy Studies Program.
The process begins simply enough when you establish your account, and fill out and complete the application. Application fees can be paid online for greater ease and savings, but you may also download paper applications from the following GAPC webpage: http://www.graduate.ku.edu/05-00_abt_form-finder.shtml. These should be sent to GAPC, 1450 Jayhawk Blvd. Room 313, Strong Hall, University of Kansas, Lawrence, KS 66045-7535. If you have questions or challenges with the online application process, you may call 785-864-3140 or email GAPC directly at gradadmin@ku.edu. Support documentation, except for letters of recommendation which can now be submitted as part of the online application, must be sent directly to the department.
