The School of Education, Department of Curriculum & Teacher is a multi-faceted organization responsible for the Baccalaureate (undergraduate) Teacher Education Program, and Graduate degrees in Curriculum and Instruction.

Teaching fields such as elementary education, English Middle School, and Journalism 6-12 Endorsement can be found on the scroll down menu. Additionally, there are currently two programs that provide teaching opportunities for those individuals in the sciences, mathematics, or a foreign language: The Graduate Licensure Program and Transition to Teaching. These programs provide entry into teaching for those who are interested.

The Undergraduate Teacher Education Program, The Graduate Licensure Program and Transition to Teaching can easily segue into an advanced degree if the student so desires, especially the Undergraduate Teacher Education Program. Graduate Programs include:

The Master's of Arts (M.A.) both thesis and non-thesis options are great choices for those interested, or responsible for educational programs in the private sector.

The Masters of Science in Education (MS .Ed.) thesis or non-thesis option, is chosen by students desiring teaching positions in the public sector. The Ed.D or Ph.D. in Curriculum and Instruction with a subject area emphasis are those terminal degrees offered in C&I.
